class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h5>40 young people (Aged 14-24) from Glasgow, who have agreed to take part in the programme, will be randomly chosen to go into one of two pathways: usual care and BRIDGE intervention (+usual care). The current study (2021-2024), funded by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mqmentalhealth.org\/home\/\">MQ Mental Health<\/a>, aims to identify young people in the general population with early symptoms of BPD and test the effectiveness of a new treatment for these symptoms \u2013 The BRIDGE Intervention. This pilot work demonstrated that young people with BPD are frequently underdiagnosed, untreated, are not in employment or training and estranged from their families.<\/h5><h5>Despite their high risk and social and health inequality, young people with BPD symptoms are less likely to be assessed\/treated and often fall into the gap between child\/adolescent and adult mental health services. A larger study was required to explore opportunities for early identification and intervention for symptoms of BPD in the general
